POSTCARDS FROM THE AFTERLIFE

 Denice was a beautiful person, who filled the lives of those who knew her with an unforgettable ray of sunshine.  She was someone who simply loved life, and loved those that were blessed enough to be a part of her life.  Denice died in a single car accident in Morro Bay, California, on August 28th 2007, when she apparently suffered a seizure, and lost control of the car.  No one else was injured.

She would always be there for people, to listen to their problems, and was more than willing to do everything she could to help them out.  She touched the lives of all who knew her in such a special and unique way.   In 1984 she married former University of Oregon athletics director, Rick Bay, and for the past 23 years, they have travelled the World together.  Visiting remote places such as Rwanda, Kenya, and South Africa.

She was retired, and living with her husband in Palm Desert, California.  Before retiring, she worked for 20 years for Club Corporation of America as the membership director for several of their properties throughout the Country, and was nominated three times as membership Director of the year.

She loved working in her yard, and was a physical fitness enthusiast.  She was fun to be with, and could bring a smile to your face in even the most difficult of times.  She was a courageous woman, with a wonderful sense of humour.  She will always be remembered.  Words cannot express the joy that she brought to all of our lives.  We will miss her, and continue to miss her throughout our lives.

***** POSTCARD DVD VIDEO *****

I put a Postcard DVD together for Denice.  I organized photographs, old movies and other memories, then I transferred them to video.  Next I added some of my favorite music.  Last I edited everything together on a DVD and dedicated it to my sister.

    KEEP MY MEMORY

Keep my memory with you,
For memories never die;
I will be there with you,
When you look across the sky.

I will be there in the clouds,
In the birds that fill the air;
In the beauty of a fragrant rose,
You will find my memory there.

You will feel me in the tenderness,
Of a tiny baby's touch;
You will hear me if you listen,
In the twilight's gentle hush.

When your hearts are heavy,
And you feel that you are alone;
Just reach down deep inside of you,
For your heart is now my home.

I will always be with you,
I will never go away;
For I will live on in your hearts,
Forever and a day.
